MIPS: Succeeding on Quality (formerly known as PQRS)

The Quality Payment Program (QPP) starts January 1, 2017, as outlined in the 2017 Final Rule. Many clinicians and practices will participate in the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System, or MIPS.

Accounting for 60% of your MIPS Final Score for 2017, the quality category aims to prioritize and reward providers for the quality of their patient care based on evidenced-based measures.
