2011 PQRS Experience Report Now Available

April 3rd, 2013

The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released the 2011 experience report for PQRS Reporting. This 71-page document contains valuable information about both PQRS and eRx trends for participation.

As we move from an incentive-based programs to penalty based, there is a definite up-tick in participation. The first year that there was a penalty for not reporting eRx was 2010–experienced as an adjustment to the 2012 physician fee schedule.

For PQRS, the first year that the eligible professionals are subject to an adjustment if they do not report is 2013.
