Missing an important Quality Payment Program (QPP) deadline could have negative impacts on your organization – including a penalty on your Medicare Part B reimbursements. Keeping track of these deadlines can be tricky, especially in a developing quality reporting program with multiple performance categories.

|December 31, 2019||Final Day of QPP Program Year 2 Performance Period
Deadline to file for Promoting Interoperability Hardship Exemption
Deadline to elect to participate in a Virtual Group for 2020 – election must be made prior to the performance period
|January 1, 2019||QPP Payment Adjustment for the 2nd Program Year begins on all Medicare Part B reimbursements based on 2018 MIPS reporting|
