Last updated August 6, 2020: This post will be updated throughout the year with any new or updated deadlines.
Missing an important MIPS, Quality Payment Program (QPP), or value-based care (VBC) deadline could have negative impacts on your organization – including penalties or money left on the table. Keeping track of these deadlines can be tricky, especially with overlapping programs that are still evolving. Bookmark this blog post for a quick reference guide to MIPS reporting deadlines!
MIPS is getting harder
As MIPS enters its 4th year, the program is finding its stride and the requirements continue to increase. You’re now at risk of receiving a 9% penalty and must earn a minimum of 45 points to avoid a negative adjustment (up from 30 points last year). You’ll also need to earn 85 points to qualify for a piece of the exceptional performance bonus.
Now, more than ever, it’s important to track and analyze your performance in MIPS and other value-based programs throughout the year. Mingle Health is here to help.
Here’s a list of upcoming deadlines you should know about to protect your income and become successful in MIPS and the QPP. If you have questions or aren’t sure which deadlines apply to you and your practice, contact us to get help from one of our Quality Program Consultants!
